In May 2017, we ventured  "Oop North" to find the jazz scene and its history in and around the Manchester area. Our grateful thanks go to Louis Lince, our guide, scriptwriter and narrator and to

Our criteria was to film jazz bands who had a residency. Recorded over two weeks, our documentary "The Road To Southport Pier- a Jazz Odyssey 2017"  was the result. We were able to include interviews with band members. Today we are bringing you one tune from each band which we hope you will enjoy.
